ANDREW TARIO

Andrew Tario has been running competitively since the 9th grade when his high school basketball team started cutting athletes. A native of upstate New York, Andrew competed against RuNordic founder Tommy McClellan at many high school competitions, before becoming teammates with him at Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. It was during this time that Andrew found his love for the long distances, specializing in the 10,000 meters on the track. Post-collegiately, Andrew bummed around Westchester County for two years, racing intermittently, before making a move to Denver, Colorado in the summer of 2020 to pursue a career opportunity. Andrew enjoys exploring all the running trails that metro Denver and the surrounding areas present, as well as hiking with his girlfriend and dog on the weekends.

When he’s not working or training, Andrew enjoys recording music, cooking delicious vegan
food, and planning his next camping trip.
